Turquoise - Layout 8

I used Sassafras - count me in patterned paper and core'dinations color core cardstock to make this layout. I used cuttlebug to emboss the circles on the core'dinations paper to replicate the circles on the patterned paper. For once I didn't use my cricut to cut anything.
I am happy I could finish this layout so quickly (being on vacation helps :) ).
Thanks to the sketch on scrapbooksteals for the inspiration.

Turquoise - Layout 6

Here is my layout for Turquoise 6. It was very interesting to make this layout because I haven't ever thought of making a layout starting from the bottom of the page and going up and that's what I ended up doing for this layout. I also love two pagers because when you put them in a book, they look perfect and you can always tell more of the story in a coordinated way. I used some really old papers that I had for this layout because I thought that the colors went really well with the photos. But I think I am done with using these papers, they don't even cut properly. All in all, every layout that I make following a sketch helps me learn something new.

Turquoise 7

Here is another layout for scrapbooksteals. This time instead of scrapbooking my kids, I made a layout of my brother and sister-in-law.

Turquoise - Layout 5

I made this layout based on a sketch published on scrapbook steals. I am addicted to this website. They post two deals everyday that are worth checking out.
I am posting this layout way late. It was supposed to be done by last wednesday. But better late than never.
This is Surya having a blast at the beach.....
