December kits and add ons from Elle's Studio

I want to change up the order in which I usually post the photos. I am going to post the layouts that I made with the awesome December kits and add ons first and then post the products that I used to create my projects with.

My first layout is a very apt for the season. It was taken last Christmas when all the friends got together. I love seeing these kids grow up together.

I try to take a photo like this every year but it is not easy. One of them is missing or they don't want to be photographed. I am sure they will love seeing these photos over the years when they grow up. I used the 4x3 and 6x4 cards from the december kit. I love all the wood veneer from the December add ons. I also used a few elements from Tis the Season collection from Elle's Studio's last years December collection. It is awesome if you plan on buying one. I love those grey alphabet stickers, they go so well with the photo.

Here is another layout that I made with the same kit. This is a new year party pocket page layout. I have been wanting to document this event and this kit when mixed with a pocket page approach was awesome.
I am loving these square pockets right now! This is a 9x12 layout and each pocket is 3x3. I totally love the fact that I am able to use the 4x3 cards perfectly in the 3x3 pockets by cutting them down. I used the puffy heart stickers and the twinkle puffy stickers. They are my favorite. I can't get enough of those twinkles!!!I also used the Stanley alpha junior to stamp '2015' and '2016'. I love all these bright colors and the gorgeous products. They were perfect to document this fun party.

Now here are the contents of the kits, add ons and digitals:

How cute are the digitals. I did not end up using them on both the projects that I made but I plan on using them for my december daily! Stay tuned to check it out. I hope you are inspired to get some of these awesome products. If yes, the links are below:

Have an awesome day and hope it is a great reveal for you!

November Kits and Extras from Elle's Studio

This months kit to me is all about Christmas. Even though there are a bunch of neutral cards that inspire other stories, my first feeling was Christmas.
Here is a look at the November kit, extras and digitals and new products:

Here are my projects that I made with these products. The first one is a pocket page layout. I don't usually use the 3x3 square pocket page format. But I think it is now my favorite format. Stay tuned for more pocket pages with the format from me. I used the photos that I clicked last December. I had done December daily last year and took a whole a bunch of extra photos than I actually used. I created this pocket page with a bunch of those photos. I love the cards and the colors as they were a perfect match for these december photos.

The second project is not a project about Christmas but a layout about our trip to welcome the first snowfall at my brother's place in Fort Wayne Indiana. We had gone there for thanksgiving in 2015 and Arjun was wishing for a snowfall so badly for his birthday. And there it was a beautiful snow on his special day. Arjun and Surya had the best time playing around in the snow. This layout is about that event. I love the wood grain paper from Family fun collection. It is so versatile. The striped colorful paper is from the digital file. I enlarged a 3x4 card and cut out a strip to be the same length as the photo. The colors in this strip were perfect match for the colors in the photo. I also love the wood veneer. It was a perfect representation of snow. This was actually the inspiration piece for this project. The acrylic word 'BRR' was from one of the earlier months and is still available the shop.
I also used the stamp from the sketch to finish class 3 on this project.

October Kit and Add ons from Elle's Studio

Love Love Love the kits this month. They are so perfect to get your fall stories told. You can tell so many other stories with the products but for this month, I chose to tell the story of our fall last year. I am keeping it literal. And I love what I documented.

Here is the October kit:

Here are the add ons for October. Every single one of them are my favorite!

Here are the digitals. Aren't those leaves awesome!?!

Also in the shop this October are the calendar cards and acrylic for 2018. I am sure you would want to stock up on those.

Here are my projects. They are about our trip to the pumpkin patch and pumpkin carving.

For this project, I decided to do a double 9x12 pocket page spread. I had so many good photos from out trip to the pumpkin patch and there were so many good cards from the kit that I wanted to incorporate a good amount of both of them. I love how it turned it out and it is one of my favorite spreads . This spread contains mainly the October kit, add ons and few elements from the family fun collection.

For this project, I chose to do a double page pocket page spread again but only this time, I wanted a large photo for my page on the right. I love the pops of navy blue on this spread. It contrasts with orange beautifully. I used the October kit and add ons, add ons from September kit and also the family fun collection on this layout.

Hope you enjoyed checking out these projects. I have a couple of affiliate links to the products that I used to create these projects. I hope you will support me by shopping by clicking on these links if you plan on buying these products.

This month, not only does Elle's Studio have the September kit and add ons, but a brand new awesome collection called Family fun. It is very versatile but with an emphasis on family phrases, home, spending time together and love. It is so beautiful. Here are a few snapshots of all the new products that Elle has to offer this month!

Here is a look at the awesome Family Fun collection. I love the handwritten words, patterns and colors. The good news is that if you buy the Family fun bundle package, you will get 20% off and you also receive three free alphabet sticker sheet. The bundle will ship for FREE when you checkout during the bundling period!
You get these awesome alphabet stickers for free when you purchase the bundle.

Here is a look at the food mini collection. It is so cute!

Here is a look at the September kit:

Here are the September add ons! Love all the veneer and the acrylic word!

Here are the printables and cut files for this month! I really love the pie chart file and see how I used it!

Here are the projects that I made with all of these awesome projects!
This is one my projects. We recently visited my brother's family in Fort Wayne. He has a 7 month old little baby girl. I have been seeing her on Face time for the last 7 months and couldn't wait to hold her. She is so adorable.
I used the pie chart cut file form this month's digitals. I then backed them with the 6x6 papers from the Family Fun collection. I also cut my photo in a circle and added some bits and pieces form this collection. The stamp that coordinates with the collection is so awesome. I stamped the phrase "I love being your AUNT", using this stamp set! The nice thing is that you can mix and match different phrases to make different sayings to suit your topics. The wood veneer is from the September add ons. I also used some punch outs from the September kits at the bottom and top.

This is another favorite of mine. My boys had such a good time spending time with their little cousin. I had to document their time with her! I love the cards in the September kit. I typed my journaling on one of the cards and used a 4x6 card as the background for my acrylic word title and wood veneer. I used sequins at the top and bottom to add some punch! I used little punch outs from the kits to finish my layout. I backed the layout with one of the papers from the Family Fun collection. The bright color makes the cards and photo pop out!

Hope you enjoyed looking at the products and layouts! If you would like to buy some of the products I would appreciate it if you could go to the shop via the affiliate links below:

August Kits from Elle's Studio

Yay! It's reveal day for the Elle's Studio August kits. Elle is one of the most talented designers and the products are all of such high quality. Every month, when I get the kits, I think, how lucky I am to be designing with such amazing products and also be on the design team for such a generous company. Here are the products:

Below are the digital cut files and then printable for this month:

Here are the extras and add ons. I love all the wood veneer and the acrylic circles are so cute.

And of course, finally the kits. I absolutely love the colors. But I decided to make slightly different types of projects this month. You will see below:

If any of the products interest you, you can find them here : http://bit.ly/2l4QbA5

The above is an affiliate link.

Here is my first project. For this project, I made a 6x8 layout and will be starting a 6x8 pocket page book with this layout. I want to make a bunch of these as they are so fun and suit the products so well.

I love this photo of my son playing for the all stars. I wanted to journal my favorite moments from the season and this journaling card was so perfect. I used a wood veneer punch out heart card as one of the pockets. I then stapled a tab onto it. I also added my title on a strip of vellum. I cut one of the wooden clips and I used heart in my title too. I love the puffy stickers from the add ons and added them for dimension and interest.

Here is my second layout:

With this layout, I wanted to highlight the large wood veneer words. They are so fun. I stitched a circle of sorts in the background and added the heart stickers from the add ons all around it. I then Added the my photo backed with some of the cards as mats and added the words on top. This is a photo of my kids a couple of years ago when they were having their favorite ice cream. I then finished the layout with the journaling along the border of the page. I backed the white card stock with one of the papers from the live laugh love collection.

Hope you have a great day and of course happy shopping!

July Kits and add ons from Elle's Studio

As every month, the kits and add ons from Elle's Studio for the month of July are outstanding. They totally remind me of summer and I love the bright color palette this month. Also released this month is the Title Builder Bundle. It got sold out so fast because I see it as one of the most useful set of products to add to your scrapbook arsenal. Even though the bundle is sold out, you can buy each of the individual elements separately.
Here is a look at the July kits and add ons. Click on the images to take you to the new arrivals in the shop.

Here are the projects that I made with these products:

The photos that I used for this layout were taken after my kid's piano recital. I wanted to document their recital day. The journal cards and the colors from the june kit were so awesome. I also like the puffy stickers add ons this month. I played around with the levels of the cards and raised them with pop dots.

Having the different elements at different levels on the layout gives a very interesting look to the layout.

I took this photo of my boys on our trip to Ireland last summer. I have been wanting to document this for a long time and found felt that the products in the kit this month were ideal to do so. I love the 3x4 cards and think of them as the perfect way to journal. I don't do project life so I love to use them on my layouts. One of my favorite add ons is the cork tags. I had a 100 different ideas on how I would use them and settled on this implementation. The acrylic word fav is from one of the previous months and is currently 40% off. The design of this layout is a simple grid. But I love the final effect of a simple grid layout with an emphasis on the photo.

Stay tuned for a project that I have created using the title builder stamp later this month on the Elle's Studio blog.
