Circles - My new class at BPC

I am so excited to announce my new class at Big Picture Classes. It is called CIRCLES. In this class I have 6 lessons. Each lesson has a couple of videos. One video is about how I digitally manipulate photos or create cut files with silhouette studio and the other video is a process video of how the layout comes together. I talk about product choices and some design choices. I have shown you in detail how I go about creating the layouts incorporating circles.

Here is a link to the class -

I want to share with you that creating a class is a huge learning process by itself. I put in a lot of work and energy into creating this class but it is also an amazing experience as I can only grow through this process. I hope you will take this class and leave me feedback. I would love to hear from you.

While you are there, also check out my first class at Big Picture Classes. It is call Big Impact. This one is all about creating layouts with large photos. I have shown you various layout designs and photo editing and printing techniques in this class.

Hope you have a wonderful day and happy learning!

June kits from Elles Studio

Where are the months flying by? I still remember posting my first set of projects for Elle's Studio in January and it is already June. I love the colorful kit this month. Bright colors and the summer theme are my absolute favorite.

Aren't all the products so awesome. I have links to all these products at the end of my blog post.

Here is my first project. I decided to make a pocket page as I really wanted to use up all the awesome cards in the kit. I documented my son's end of soccer season. His favorite part to the party was the red popsicle he is eating in these photos.  The red acrylic popsicle and the popsicle card were perfect for this layout.

Here is my second project. It is a layout of my kids having an awesome time at the beach. The entire theme of the kit and the add ons were perfect for this photo. I used one of the 6x4 cards the from the June kits to write my journaling and those puffy hearts have my heart :) I cut a 3x4 card in half to frame each side of the 6x4 card. I then added some die cuts on the photo itself. Another favorite this month are the acrylic shapes add on. I added the popsicles, sun and the camera acrylic shapes on this layout to emphasize the feeling of summer.

Hope you enjoyed the projects!

May Kits from Elles Studio

Hi friends. It's time for another awesome kit from Elle's Studio to go live. I love all the colors of this kit - blue, green, orange, yellow. In the add ons, I love all the arrows and have hoarded them to make my third project which will go live around the end of the month.

Here is the May kit! Look at those hexagons! They are one of my favorites this month. All the cards too! I can use all of them. That's what I like about these kits.

You can find the kit and the subscription to the kits here.

Here are the May digitals. You can find it here in the Elle's Studio Store.

Here are the May add ons! I don't think you can stay away from any of them. The stamp is super versatile. You can find it here at the Elle's Studio shop.

Here are my projects:

To begin with the background grid paper is from the Live Laugh Love collection. As soon as I saw the hexagons, I knew that I absolutely wanted to cut my photos into hexagons also and sprinkle the hexagon wood veneer all over the layout. Those punch out circles are cool to add to this layout as they break up the sharp edges of the hexagons. The two cards on the top right and bottom left are perfect with a great saying that goes so well with the layout and the journal card which was also a perfect way to document our trip to Costa Rica.

Here are some close ups:

Here is my next layout!

Here is my second layout which has a very different subject than the first. It is cool that kit inspired me to make layouts that are so different from each other with completely different topics. I love the Currently card from the kit. I wrote down a little bit of what's happening with me. I like that I included myself in the layout. I always hesitate to do one just about me. But I am happy to do this. The stamp from the add ons this month has all the days of the week. It can be used to make so many different types of projects.

Here are some close ups:

Last but not least, make sure that you check out the Mini Album class that has some absolutely awesome contributors. You can find it here. It is on sale right now. You will also get a stamp set when you purchase the class.

I hope you like what you see because I am so happy to be creating with them. Have a great day!

Here are all the add ons this month:

And of course don't miss out on the digital. It is always so much fun to use them as is or modify them to suit your needs.

Below are all images of the Live Laugh Love collection. There is so much goodness in it.

I love how beautifully the April kit coordinates with the new collection. I mainly used the April kit for this layout and used the papers in background from the collection. I love acrylic words. They are perfect for titles. I also used the digitals from this month here. I resized the a printable that has Fun printed on it and then typed my journaling on it. I then used the bits and pieces to add some phrases. One of the most fun parts of the kit is the wood confetti. It was fun to use them to make different shapes. I made a flower with the diamonds and added and an enamel dot in the center. Hope you like this layout.

I made this layout with a 3x4 journal card from the April kit on which I typed my journaling. I also cut the labels down to 3x4 size and stamped the phrase from the stamp in the April kit with matching colors. The striped paper on top is from the Live Laugh Love collection. I did some zig zag stitching a the border. I also used the digital cut file from this month and backed the circles with 6x6 papers from this new collection. I then added the wood confetti, enamel dots and puffy stickers in those circles for fun. I used the hearts to make butterflies.

I made this layout entirely with the Live Laugh Love collection. This was already up on the Elle's Studio blog last week. I thought I will share it here too just in case you missed it. I love every element  of this collection. The colors, the designs, the theme and phrases. I love it. You can get the collection here (Affiliate Link)

If you love the products as much as you do and if you plan on buying, it would be great if you could click on the Affiliate links to make your purchase.

March kits and add ons from Elle's Studio

Hello Spring!!! That's was the first thought when I saw the March kits from Elle's Studio. I love the colors so very much this month. I think it is especially well suited for boys. Since I have two boys it made me really really happy. Girl moms, you can use the kit too... you will see my fellow design team mates doing it in such a gorgeous way.

I can't express in words how much fun I had creating with these products. I used the main kit, add ons and the digitals to create my projects. I will be sharing two projects here today and my third project will be shared on the Elle's Studio blog at the end of the month.

Here is the first project that I created. I decided to create a 9x12 pocket page layout. I hardly ever do this. It is a great way to go with the Elle's Studio kits.

This is a layout about my little one being cute and silly. All the cards in the kit are so amazing and versatile. They can be used for so many different types of layouts. My favorite part of this layout is that pocket with sequins. I used the fuse tool to close it shut. All the little elements and details on this layout make my heart happy. One of my favorite add-on is the stamp set this month. Make sure you get it. Here is a close up shot of the journaling that I did.

Now here is the second project. This is a traditional 12x12 layout.

For the left 1/3rd of the layout, I used a paper from the Sunny Days collection. I cut out my photo in the shape of a star to mimic acrylic stars in the add on. I loved the stars so much that I had use them all on this layout. I also love the colors on the bright vellum Sentiment circles. I used the 'spring' acrylic word as my title and stamped 'BREAK' underneath it with the Jonah alphabet stamp set

If you do plan on buying the kits, it would be great if you went through these links as I will get a commission based on what you buy and thanks in advance for that.

February Add Ons

As you can see, the colors are so awesome. Everything goes so well with each of the other elements.

Now here are my projects. For the first project, I created a 9x12 layout of my son and the stuffed toy that every kid in his preschool class got a chance to take home. And yes, the name of the stuffed elephant happened to be Elle.

For this layout, I used a bunch of cards of cards and die cuts from the feb kit. I also used the digital cut files to cut out the Hello speech bubbles and backed them with a card from the kit. I then stamped the title with the Malia lowercase stamp. I also love those acetate circle hearts from the Feb add ons. The colors are all so pretty.

For my next project, I wanted to make a different type of project instead of a layout. I made an accordion fold album about my younger son. He is such a goofball and such a cutie. I love the current stage he is in so much. He makes us all laugh all the time.

Here are images from the project. The size of each page is slightly larger than 4x3. I tried to stick to a color scheme of yellow, grey and orange. I loved the outcome.

The title page: That wood veneer from the add on is awesome.

First page: I love the stars card from the Feb kit. I stamped the word 'REMEMBER' from thea dd on stamp set. I typed my journaling on the card. The currently word is from the digitals. I changed the color to grey.

Second Page: The speech bubble stickers and wood veneer stars from the Feb add ons are so cute.

Third page: I sure do love me some bulleted journaling. Again using some digitals here and that star again.

Fourth page: I changed the purple colored dialogs to yellow in the digitals to go with my color scheme. I so love this simple page.

Fifth page: Again, typing my journaling on a card from the feb kit and used some die cuts and digitals.

Last Page: How cute is this hearts card fro the Feb kit!?! I stamped the date:, subject: with black ink and typed the date and my son's name.

Here is the completed accordion book. I love the outcome. I also love the grey, orange and yellow colors throughout this project.

I really love how you can extend the use of the kit with the digitals.

Here are some affiliate links to the products. If you want to buy any of the products anyways, it would be great if you went through these links. I would then get a percent of the total purchase you made. Thanks a million!
