Elle's Studio January Kit Projects

I am still not over the fact that Elle asked me to be on the Design team for Elle's Studio. So January Kit went live today. I am working mainly with this kit and extras for these projects. I love how versatile this kit is. It prompted me to create two very different themed projects.

For the first project, I decided to list my top ten goals for the year 2017. It is very simple layout that conveys the message. I used a large photo of me in the background and stamped the word goals directly on the photo. For not being the best stamper, that is pretty brave for me. I am in love with the Jonah Stamp. I know I am going to be stamping way more and improving this skill this year. I love all the stamps that the Elle's Studio carries. Stay tuned for more projects with stamping. The card on which I wrote my goals is from the January kit and the background striped paper is from the Little Moments collection. Also make sure you get your pack of sequins. The colors coordinate with the kit so well.

For the second layout, I decided to go way back in time. I am not sure why, but the card that says "You are so very loved" totally reminded me of this photo of my boy when he was about 7 months old. I just absolutely had to use this photo. Over time, I have learnt to ignore that pinks are for girls only. I don't care - I will use pink for boys and blue for girls. I have two boys and these days I seem to be using pinks on their layouts without hesitation :). On this layout I mainly used the cards from the January kit. The wood veneer and the stickers are from the January extras and they all coordinate so well.
