Elle's Studio July Kits and Add Ons

I am so excited for this months reveal from Elle's Studio. I love the colors and summer vibe of the products. I love that I get so inspired to tell my stories with these products.

I love the color scheme this month - the blues, oranges, greens and grays. They go so well together. All products are designed to be so versatile. They can be used for general purpose story telling or thematic story telling.

Here are my projects:

It's not often that I include photos of myself on my projects. I can't believe I made two projects with photos of me this month and none with my kids. For this pocket page spread, I documented my day when I had to drive Arjun for his baseball game an hour early when they practice. I had an hour to kill and the greatest advantage was the venue. I walked around, took photos and selfies and read a book. I loved that the colors of the cards went so well with the colors of the photos. I love that card that says this place is truly Paradise. This park truly is.

For the second project, I made a 9x12 layout with a large photo. The people in this photo are my brother, sister in law and me. My husband took this photo of us taking a walk along the ocean. I love this photo. I decided to use the labels as little mats for my embellishments for this one. I also love the gorgeous heart puffy stickers this month. I added them as a border in the bottom. Another favorite this month are the wood veneer phrases. I couldn't get enough of them. I had to use up almost all of them. The Highlights stamp from this month is pretty versatile too.
